THEY HAVE TO WALK 28-30 KILOMETERS WHILE CARRYING 40-50 KILOS
Village headman Alaaddin Kamalı, stating that the process gave them hope, said, "We set foot in our village, which was evacuated in 1995, again after years. Currently, hundreds of our people and thousands of our small livestock are in İkiyaka. However, our biggest problem is transportation. Our citizens have to walk 28-30 kilometers while carrying 40-50 kilos. We demand that a road be built urgently both for our return to our village to be permanent and for agriculture and animal husbandry to revive."
Ümit Baban, one of the village residents, emphasizing that the village is highly suitable for agriculture and animal husbandry, said, "Our village has thousands of tons of walnuts and fruit trees. We demand that our road be built so that we can live there again, fully return to our villages, and utilize this potential."
