Following the new memberships that took place at the AK Party's 25th anniversary program, a striking piece of backroom information regarding the political balances in Ankara came to the fore. Journalist Sinan Burhan claimed that three more mayors could join the AK Party.
At the program "AK Party's 25th Anniversary" organized yesterday at the Capital City National Garden, the participation of 7 mayors who resigned from CHP, DEM Party, and New Welfare Party, along with 3 deputies, stirred political circles.

Journalist Sinan Burhan stated that new transitions to the AK Party are on the agenda and shared the names of three mayors from Ankara. According to the behind-the-scenes information Burhan conveyed on the tv100 broadcast, the mayors of Kalecik, Nallıhan, and Polatlı are expected to join the AK Party in the coming period.
"MANSUR YAVAŞ'S INFLUENCE SEEMS TO HAVE WANED"
Burhan also assessed the political influence of Ankara Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Mansur Yavaş in the districts, arguing that some mayors have begun to act independently of Yavaş.
Burhan stated, "Mansur Yavaş's influence seems to have waned. In the coming days, 3 mayors in Ankara may join the AK Party. The names Kalecik, Nallıhan, and Polatlı are being discussed."
