Aden, a 1.5-year-old girl attending kindergarten in Adana, had coffee spilled on her. The little girl suffered second-degree burns on her face and body. The family filed a complaint against the school. SECOND-DEGREE BURNS ON LITTLE ADEN'S BODYAccording to the information obtained, the incident occurred on October 25 during lunchtime at a private kindergarten in the central Çukurova district. Allegedly, coffee was spilled on 1.5-year-old Aden Aslan at the kindergarten. Following this, the kindergarten management took the little girl to the hospital, where the hospital administration informed her mother, Aslı. Upon arriving at the hospital, the mother learned that her daughter had second-degree burns on her face and body. THE FAMILY FILED A COMPLAINT AGAINST THE KINDERGARTENAfter the treatments at the hospital, the little girl was discharged, and the family filed a complaint against the kindergarten management. Mother Aslı Aslan stated that the kindergarten was negligent in the incident, saying, "The kindergarten management claims that the incident happened on the stairs and refuses to provide the camera footage, saying there are no cameras. This incident does not resemble the burning of a single cup of coffee. My daughter's neck is peeling, her arm is swollen. Her face is peeling even when applying cream. My child is in pain. How can this be such irresponsibility when we don't let our children drink hot things in the room? The owner of the institution was next to us at the hospital and tried to take our complaint paper. While we were in distress, the doctors did not give us the paper. We will not let this incident go."
