President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan hosted female producers, the unsung heroes of agriculture, on May 14 World Farmers' Day. At the colorful and sincere gathering, female farmers from all over Turkey participated in their regional costumes. Emphasizing the importance of women's labor in production, Erdoğan took note of the female farmers' demands one by one, delivering a message of sustainability in agriculture.

President Recep Tayyip Erdogan came together with female farmers at a special program organized on the occasion of May 14, World Farmers' Day. The meeting, held in a sincere atmosphere, was marked by female producers who attended in their local attire.

ERDOGAN'S CLOSE ATTENTION TO FEMALE FARMERS 

Following the program, President Erdogan, together with Minister of Agriculture and Forestry Ibrahim Yumakli, received the female producers and chatted with each of them individually. In the meeting, which emphasized the critical role of female farmers in agricultural production, field issues and solution proposals were heard firsthand.

FULL SUPPORT FOR WOMEN'S LABOR IN PRODUCTION 

During the meeting, the message was given that the key to rural development is women's labor. It was stated that female farmers will continue to be supported for the sustainability of agricultural production, while participants also had the opportunity to convey their demands directly to the President.

The female farmers, who added color to the program with their white headscarves and shalvars, enjoyed pleasant moments with President Erdogan. The gathering ended with a group souvenir photo taken to commemorate the day.
