SURPRISING DEMAND IN RECONCILIATION CASE
According to the investigation file, a person named Soner K. called his nephew's wife, Abbas D., on the phone and insulted and threatened him. After the conversation, Abbas D. went to the Ankara Courthouse and filed a complaint against his wife's uncle.
The Ankara Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, which launched an investigation, sent the file to the Reconciliation Bureau since the crimes fell under reconciliation. The mediator assigned to the case began meetings to achieve a peaceful resolution between the parties.
The victim, Abbas D., stated that he would drop his complaint if he was given a wireless upright vacuum cleaner and a smart robotic vacuum cleaner model from a recognized brand.
HE DELIVERED WHAT WAS REQUESTED
Accepting the request, Soner K. purchased the specified brand and model vacuum cleaners and delivered them to his nephew's wife. The prosecutor's office decided not to prosecute Soner K., as he fulfilled the reconciliation conditions.
