While Şenyurt stated that Alptürk Enginyurt did not have the financial means to carry out the commercial activities in question with his own resources, he recounted that some money destined for the Enginyurt family came to his own account, and at times he received cash and transferred it from his account to Cemal or Alptürk Enginyurt. The former advisor's statement that a vehicle supposedly allocated to the parliamentarian was used by Enginyurt's 'kirve' (ritual co-parent) and family friend Recep Ali Keydal also became one of the most striking points of the file.

Cem Tekinoğlu, Enginyurt's current advisor, was detained yesterday within the scope of the investigation into prostitution and laundering of assets derived from crime conducted by the Ankara Chief Public Prosecutor's Office.
It also emerged that Ali Şenyurt, who served as Enginyurt's advisor for about 7 years, gave testimony as a witness within the scope of the investigation numbered 2026/60611 by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office.
In the statement dated August 25, 2026, the prosecutor's office took detailed testimony from Şenyurt, particularly regarding Alptürk Enginyurt's commercial activities, the financing sources of these activities, money movements with the Enginyurt family, allocations of parliamentary vehicles, and relations with some names in Cemal Enginyurt's close circle.

Şenyurt stated that during this period, he knew that Cemal Enginyurt's son Alptürk Enginyurt operated a fuel station in Ordu and was also a partner in an entertainment venue named "Öküz" that operated for a while in Ankara.
According to Şenyurt, the other partner in the entertainment venue was Kürşad Şahin. Describing Şahin as someone from Cemal Enginyurt's close circle, Şenyurt used the expression, "He is constantly with Cemal Enginyurt."

Şenyurt's answer was striking: "Alptürk Enginyurt is young in age. During my time as advisor, he always said he wanted to engage in commercial activities. However, I do not think he had the financial means to do this business. He was supported by his family."
Thus, the former advisor of the Enginyurt family had his suspicion that Alptürk Enginyurt's commercial ventures were financed by his own financial means recorded in the prosecutor's office minutes.
CEMAL ENGİNYURT WAS INVOLVED IN REAL ESTATE BUYING AND SELLING WHILE AN MP The prosecutor's office also asked Şenyurt about the numerous money transfers reflected in the MASAK report and the financial sources of the companies related to Alptürk Enginyurt. Şenyurt said that Cemal Enginyurt was engaged in trade before his parliamentary term and also dealt in real estate buying and selling during his tenure as an MP.
However, stating that he had no knowledge of the true source of the financing, he made the following striking statement: "I held powers of attorney from Cemal Enginyurt and Alptürk Enginyurt. Sometimes money intended for them would be sent to me. I would then send it to their accounts." He then provided an even more striking detail regarding the money traffic.

The former advisor's statement was as follows: "In fact, sometimes we also received money in cash. I would take this money myself and transfer the amount to them from the funds in my account."
Şenyurt noted that in the MASAK report, a money transfer involving himself and the Enginyurt family might be visible, and he said he thought this was probably a transaction arising from the sale of a vehicle by Alptürk Enginyurt.
FUEL STATION, PRODUCTION COMPANY AND ENTERTAINMENT VENUE In his testimony, Şenyurt also described the companies he knew to be connected to Alptürk Enginyurt. He said one of these was Astürk Akaryakıt (Fuel) and the other was Elite Prodüksiyon (Production).
Stating that Elite Prodüksiyon was established because Alptürk Enginyurt studied radio and cinema at university, Şenyurt stated that the partner of the company was Önder Asru.
Şenyurt said the same person was also a partner in Astürk Petrol, but added that, to his knowledge, Elite Prodüksiyon did not engage in any commercial activity.
"RECEP ALİ KEYDAL WAS USING ENGİNYURT'S ALLOCATED VEHICLE" The prosecutor's office also asked whether one of the vehicle allocations provided to Cemal Enginyurt during his parliamentary term was used by another person. Şenyurt gave a striking answer to the question, which was particularly directed at the name Recep Ali Keydal.
Şenyurt stated that during the period he knew about, there were two vehicles allocated, saying that he himself used one of them for Cemal Enginyurt, and that the other vehicle in Istanbul was used by “Recep Ali Keydal, whom I know as Cemal Enginyurt's sworn brother and family friend.”

Şenyurt described Keydal as a very close friend of Cemal Enginyurt.
The former advisor said that he went to Keydal's law office in Beşiktaş together with Cemal Enginyurt and stated that he did not know the content of the meetings.
Şenyurt's following words drew attention: “Upon Cemal Enginyurt's instruction, I would wait for Cemal Enginyurt in the vehicle or in the waiting room of the office we went to. They would not take anyone with them during their meetings with Recep Ali Keydal.”
Şenyurt said he knew Keydal was involved in trade but did not know in which sector he operated.
METAL OTO AND MURAT ÖZKAYA CONNECTION ALSO ENTERED THE FILE The prosecutor's office also brought up the relations with Murat Özkaya, who was mentioned in the question as the owner of the company, following the statement that one of the vehicles used by Cemal Enginyurt was received from Metal Otomotiv.
Şenyurt said he did not personally know Murat Özkaya but had seen him a few times. Stating that the first of these took place at Recep Ali Keydal's office in Beşiktaş, Şenyurt said, “At that time, Cemal Enginyurt, Recep Ali Keydal, and Murat Özkaya were sitting together.”
He also said that he went to Metal Oto's office in Ataşehir with Cemal Enginyurt 1-2 times to visit Murat Özkaya, and that one of these visits was also shared on Enginyurt's social media account.
ADVISOR ŞENYURT: "CEMAL ENGİNYURT WOULD GET VERY ANGRY WHEN HE LOST MONEY IN THE STOCK MARKET!" In response to the prosecutor's question about Alptürk Enginyurt conducting heavy stock market transactions, Şenyurt said he had not witnessed Alptürk making stock market transactions. However, he provided different information about the father, Cemal Enginyurt: “I know that Cemal Enginyurt played the stock market. In fact, I have witnessed moments when he got very angry when he lost money.”
Şenyurt also said that Cemal Enginyurt might be making a profit from the stock market, but noted that this was only his own estimate regarding the financial source.
CEM TEKİNOĞLU, WHO WAS DETAINED, WAS ALSO ASKED ABOUT IN THE PROSECUTOR'S STATEMENT One of the most striking parts of the statement for today was the prosecutor's office asking about Cem Tekinoğlu. Şenyurt, stating that he knew Tekinoğlu, said, “A person named Cem Tekinoğlu currently serves as Cemal Enginyurt's advisor.”
Şenyurt said he knew that Tekinoğlu had previously worked in the information technology field at Munzur University, and recounted that during his own advisory period, Tekinoğlu was a civil servant and came to visit Cemal Enginyurt at the Turkish Grand National Assembly.
Only days after this statement, Cem Tekinoğlu's detention within the scope of the prostitution and money laundering investigation conducted by the Ankara Chief Public Prosecutor's Office brought Enginyurt's circle of advisors back to the center of the agenda.
At the end of his statement, Şenyurt said he was ready to give another statement if the prosecutor's office deemed it necessary. Judicial sources reported that statements regarding private life, including the use of advisor Şenyurt's house for different purposes, were not recorded as part of the statement.
