The car carrying 4 cousins who had rented a vehicle from Birecik and gone to the city center of Şanlıurfa for a trip collided head-on with an oncoming vehicle at Arat Mountain location. In the horrific accident, 3 of the cousins lost their lives at the scene, while 2 people were seriously injured.

HEAD-ON DISASTER
According to the information obtained, the accident occurred between the Birecik district and the Suruç district. Four cousins named Hüseyin Korkmaz, Mehmet Korkmaz, Yasin Korkmaz and M.K. set out from Birecik in a car they rented to go sightseeing in Şanlıurfa. The car carrying these individuals collided head-on with a vehicle driven by Salih A. in the Arat Mountain region.
3 COUSINS DIED AT THE SCENE
In the accident, cousins Hüseyin Korkmaz, Mehmet Korkmaz and Yasin Korkmaz lost their lives, while M.K. and the driver of the other vehicle, Salih A., were seriously injured. After the first intervention of the medical teams who arrived at the scene, the injured were taken to Birecik State Hospital by ambulances.
