U.S. President Donald Trump stated that the claims of Chief of Staff Dan Caine being "against war with Iran" are completely false, warning that "the outcome for Iran would be bad if an agreement is not reached."
US President Trump responded to news regarding General Caine in a post on his social media account.
"FAKE NEWS"
Trump stated, "In the fake news media, there are reports that General Caine is against going to war with Iran. These reports are one hundred percent false."
"THE DECISION IS MINE, HE MUST OBEY"
Trump, who indicated that the decision regarding Iran is his own and that if he decides to attack this country, Caine will follow it and manage the army very well, commented, "General Caine does not want to see war, like all of us, but if a military decision is made against Iran, he believes it can be easily won."
"IF THERE IS NO AGREEMENT, IT WILL BE A VERY BAD DAY"
The US President also stated to the Tehran administration, "The decision is mine, I prefer an agreement, but if there is no agreement, it will be a very bad day for that country and unfortunately for its people."
WHAT HAPPENED?
It was claimed that US General Caine warned US President Donald Trump that a possible military operation against Iran could lead to a prolonged conflict.
In a report by Axios news site based on two sources familiar with the discussions, it was alleged that Caine informed Trump that an attack on Iran could carry significant risks.
