Gastronomy writer Vedat Milor visited Kilisli Ömer Usta, whom he described as "the best lahmacun in Istanbul." During his visit, Milor reacted strongly to the unauthorized filming of him and sternly warned the restaurant owner. "TAKING MY PHOTO WITHOUT PERMISSION IS INTRUDING ON MY PRIVACY"While Milor reacted harshly to the unauthorized filming in the restaurant, he praised the food. In a video he published on his YouTube channel, he stated: "The food is really amazing, but I don't think I will come again. Why? Because I felt used. I would kindly ask you not to interrupt me. Please don't say 'no problem.' The more you talk, the further away you get from civility. When I am eating here, taking my photo is intruding on my privacy. It really offended me. I am not a performing monkey here. These behaviors make me unhappy; I can't enjoy myself. Maybe that's why I will completely cut my ties with Turkey." Milor's words ignited a new debate on social media. While some users supported Milor, others criticized him. CITIZENS FLOODED INCitizens who found the gastronomy writer's reaction harsh flocked to the restaurant to support the owner. Citizens formed a queue in front of the restaurant, having to wait for minutes to eat lahmacun. While the restaurant struggled to keep up with orders, many items ran out. Citizens shared photos and videos of the restaurant on their social media accounts.
