The death toll has risen to 12 after the bodies of two more missing people were found from the passenger ship that capsized off the coast of Girne, Northern Cyprus, last Sunday. Search efforts for 16 people are ongoing.
Two more bodies were recovered in the ongoing search efforts following the capsizing of a passenger ship off the coast of Kyrenia. The death toll from the accident has risen to 12, while 16 people remain missing.
On August 30, the passenger ship named Filojet, which departed from Kyrenia to Mersin Taşucu, capsized off the coast of Kyrenia with 259 passengers and 8 crew members on board.
