2 PEOPLE LOST THEIR LIVES IN THE FIGHT
The incident occurred near the rural Bostancık neighborhood of the Şahinbey district. According to claims, a dispute broke out between two feuding groups over a debt matter. The argument quickly escalated into a brawl. In the fight where firearms were used, 1 person died at the scene, and Yasin Ö. (33) lost his life in the hospital where he was taken.
5 PEOPLE WERE INJURED
A total of 5 people, including the injured Hüseyin Ö. (18), Murat Ö. (46), Mustafa Ö., Mehmet Ö., and another person whose name could not be learned, were taken to Gaziantep City Hospital, Abdülkadir Yüksel State Hospital, and Şehitkamil State Hospital after initial intervention by health teams arriving at the scene. The bodies of the 2 deceased were taken to the Gaziantep Forensic Medicine Institute morgue for autopsy after the procedures were completed.
Following the incident, gendarmerie teams took extensive security measures, and an investigation was launched.
