WHAT HAD HAPPENED?

The Istanbul-based investigation was initiated on the grounds that the crime organization known as 'Daltonlar' was involved in numerous armed attacks, intentional murder, threats, robbery, and drug trafficking. In the indictments prepared by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, it was claimed that the organization operated particularly along the Europe-Turkey line, using social media and music videos to both promote itself and gather young people around the criminal organization.

As part of the investigation, detention and arrest warrants were issued for hundreds of individuals, and the case files were merged over time, making it one of the organized crime cases with the highest number of defendants in Turkey.
