Famous director Ezel Akay, who was detained as part of a drug investigation, has been released under judicial control. His brother, who was detained along with Akay, has been arrested.
A decision has been made regarding famous director Ezel Akay and his musician brother Eren Kazım Akay, who were detained in a drug operation organized by the gendarmerie in the İnegöl district of Bursa. Ezel Akay, who was brought before the court, was released under judicial control, while his musician brother Eren Kazım Akay was arrested.
THE REPORT REVEALED THE CASE
Teams from the Bursa Provincial Gendarmerie Command Narcotics Branch launched an investigation following information that cannabis was being cultivated at Ezel Akay's residence. Coordinated by the Public Prosecutor's Office, teams conducted an operation at the address, seizing cannabis plants considered to be grown with a special setup and a large amount of kubar marijuana during the search of the house.
The seized drugs were confiscated for examination. Within the scope of the operation, Ezel Akay and his brother Eren Kazım Akay were detained and taken to the gendarmerie station for statements.
JUDICIAL CONTROL FOR THE DIRECTOR
After their procedures at the gendarmerie were completed, Akay and his brother were referred to the courthouse.
Ezel Akay was released under judicial control by the court he was brought to, while his musician brother Eren Kazım Akay was arrested.
WHAT CAME OUT OF THEIR HOUSE SHOCKED EVERYONE
During searches at the residences of director Ezel Akay and his musician brother Eren Kazım Akay, 22 cannabis plants, 1,144 grams of kubar marijuana, 1 active climate control system, and various materials were seized.
In the searches, where the gendarmerie narcotics dog 'Takip' was also used, drugs found in bags and jars in desk drawers and cabinets, as well as cannabis plants determined to be grown in pots, were confiscated for examination.
