Party Spokesperson Ayşegül Doğan made a statement regarding the condition of DEM Party Istanbul Deputy Sırrı Süreyya Önder, who underwent surgery due to a heart condition and is receiving treatment in the hospital.
"HIS CONDITION IS STABLE"
In a statement to reporters in front of the hospital in Şişli, she noted that they have been waiting for good news about Önder for days.
Doğan indicated that the absence of bad news shows that things are going well, stating, "According to the doctors' statements, so far the condition is stable. We owe a lot to this stabilization. This stabilization was part of the anticipated hospital process. Of course, this does not mean that the high life risk has ceased. As you know, he is still fighting a great battle for life.
Just as his daughter Ceren said, he is doing what he knows best, and we are the best witnesses to that. He continues to resist. We are also maintaining our hopeful wait. We believe that Sırrı Süreyya Önder will overcome this process healthily, will somehow rise from there and join us, and will see that lasting peace he longs for, and will continue to strive to be one of its founders," she expressed.

Reminding that the hospital process will be long, Doğan noted that this process is progressing as anticipated.
Doğan stated, "The interest shown, the wishes of solidarity, the hopes, the prayers, all indicate the beautiful news we are collectively waiting for, which is also what Turkey needs. That is, while Sırrı Süreyya Önder is fighting for his life, he continues to work, run, resist, unite us, reduce our separations, and increase our similarities."
Emphasizing that everything necessary for Sırrı Süreyya Önder's recovery is being done meticulously, Doğan stated that Önder is in good hands and that the doctors are doing more than their best.
Doğan also added that they have started to accept visits at the party's provincial organization to facilitate and not hinder access to health services in the hospital.
