Former model Deniz Akkaya has been sentenced to 4 months and 27 days in prison for assaulting her 15-year-old daughter. The court also considered the iron thermos and headphones that Akkaya threw at her daughter as weapons.

The decision was made in the trial where former model Deniz Akkaya was accused of assaulting her 15-year-old daughter A.Ö. with a weapon under the charge of 'simple injury against a family member'. Istanbul Criminal Court has ruled on the case.

SHE STRANGLED HER WITH AN IRON THERMOS

The court stated that on the day of the incident, an argument broke out between Akkaya and her daughter A.Ö., and it was unclear who started the argument. During the argument, Akkaya threw a bag containing an iron thermos and wireless headphones, which could be used as a weapon, at the victim. She also kicked and slapped the victim and strangled her. Taking into account that A.Ö. did not file a complaint against her mother, the court sentenced Akkaya to 4 months and 27 days in prison for the charge of 'simple injury against a family member'.

WHAT HAPPENED BETWEEN DENIZ AKKAYA AND HER DAUGHTER?

In May, Deniz Akkaya called the police to her house, claiming that she was locked on the balcony by her daughter during an argument. Akkaya filed a complaint against her daughter. Later, Akkaya placed her daughter under state protection, saying "Let her suffer". During this process, Akkaya shared everything that happened on her X account and complained about finding a second mobile phone in her daughter's room. Akkaya made consecutive posts, targeting her ex-husband and claiming that he did not spend time with their daughter or meet her needs. The famous figure had previously sent her daughter, who was under state protection, to her father Efe Önbilgin with her consent. Akkaya, who has been continuing her posts without slowing down, recently exposed her messages with her daughter. The message revealed that Akkaya cursed at her daughter while trying to force her to go to sports.
