An investigation has been launched against a woman who drew reactions by getting out of the sunroof of a moving vehicle and making provocative movements, and the driver of the vehicle, in the Salihli district of Manisa. Following the incident, which sparked widespread backlash on social media, the Salihli Chief Public Prosecutor's Office announced that the suspects have been taken into custody.

Images recorded on August 8 in the Salihli district of Manisa and quickly spread on social media prompted security and judicial units to take action. The incident in a moving car drew reactions from other drivers and citizens in traffic.

SCANDALOUS ACTS ON THE SUNROOF

According to the information obtained, a woman leaning out of the sunroof of a moving vehicle was seen engaging in indecent acts disturbing the surroundings. After those moments were recorded and shared by citizens, judicial authorities immediately launched an investigation.

STATEMENT FROM THE CHIEF PUBLIC PROSECUTOR'S OFFICE: DRIVER AND WOMAN DETAINED

Following the spread of the images, the Salihli Chief Public Prosecutor's Office launched a judicial investigation under the crime of "indecent acts." Within the scope of the investigation, the female passenger and the driver of the vehicle, whose identities were determined, were detained by security forces.

In a statement made by the Salihli Chief Public Prosecutor's Office on the matter, the following expressions were included: "Within the scope of the investigation initiated by the Salihli Chief Public Prosecutor's Office on the crime of indecent acts, due to the female passenger in the vehicle getting on the sunroof and engaging in indecent acts on 08.08.2026 in the Salihli district of Manisa Province, the woman and the vehicle driver have been detained."
