Sean "Diddy" Combs' mother, Janice Smalls Combs, made a statement regarding the sexual assault and harassment allegations against her son. The 84-year-old Janice emphasized her son's innocence and called for a fair trial from the public. Janice stated in an interview with Dailymail.com that her son had made mistakes in the past. She pointed out that despite Diddy denying the use of violence against his ex-girlfriend Cassie Ventura, hotel cameras showed otherwise. However, Janice stressed that this did not mean her son was guilty of other serious allegations. According to the mother, Diddy's quick resolution of his case with Cassie led other individuals to come forward with similar claims for financial gain. Janice mentioned that her son believes most of these allegations are false and fabricated for financial profit. Janice expressed that she was devastated by the loss of her son's freedom and the damage to his reputation. She asked the public not to judge her son before he had the chance to tell his side of the story. This statement came after Houston attorney Tony Buzbee announced that he represents 120 individuals against Diddy. Buzbee stated that most of his clients would file lawsuits in New York and Los Angeles, and the allegations cover the period since 1991. Diddy's attorney, Erica Wolff, stated that her client denies all allegations and will prove his innocence in court. The 54-year-old Diddy is currently at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn and claims he is innocent of federal charges. The famous producer is known as a three-time Grammy winner and one of the most recognized figures in the hip-hop world.
