Diesel prices have increased! Here are the new prices city by city

21.07.2026 08:00

With the reflection of the tension between the USA and Iran on global oil markets, diesel prices increased by 1.12 lira. With the hike effective as of midnight, the total increase in diesel prices in July exceeded 8 lira, while per-liter prices rose above 75 lira in many cities.

Fluctuations in energy markets continue to cause frequent changes in price signs at fuel stations. The collapse of the agreement between the US and Iran, along with the renewed possibility of war in the region, rapidly drove up oil prices that had been trending downward. This sudden rise in global markets was directly reflected in pump prices in Turkey.

NEW PRICES ANNOUNCED

As of Tuesday, July 21, due to global developments, the price of diesel per liter has been increased by 1.12 lira.

Following this latest hike, the price of diesel per liter in Istanbul exceeded 74 lira, while in Ankara and Izmir it surpassed 75 lira. In eastern provinces, prices rose to levels around 77 lira.

TOTAL INCREASE IN JULY SURPASSES 8 LIRA

Since the beginning of July, fuel prices have continued to be caught in the grip of tax regulations, exchange rate fluctuations, and increases in international product prices.

While the total of consecutive price hikes since the start of the month has reached 8 lira and 54 kuruş, these successive increases have pushed diesel prices above 75 lira in many cities across Turkey.
