The social media phenomenon Dilan Polat, who was released from charges of money laundering and establishing an organization for the purpose of committing crimes, was seen kissing her sister Sıla Doğu on the lips at a party she organized at a venue in Beşiktaş. The investigation into Dilan Polat and her sister Sinem Sıla Doğu, which was published on her social media account, has been completed. In the indictment prepared by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, Dilan Polat and Sinem Sıla Doğu were listed as 'suspects.'

In the indictment, which includes the statement of suspect Dilan Polat, she mentioned that they were celebrating a close friend's birthday on the day of the incident, saying, "My sister Sıla has been like a mother and father to me. We were constantly together during our time in prison. This situation occurred when she suddenly turned around while I was going to kiss her on the cheek. There can be no other thought between us other than a sister-brother relationship. Our friends recorded a video at the entertainment venue. They probably shared this situation on social media without realizing it. As a result, it became news. When I woke up in the morning and realized this situation, I apologized to everyone in society. I also made posts on social media, but I do not remember making such a post. It is not possible for me to share something like that anyway. My sister is like my mother; they have made news by slowing down the shared video to give it different meanings," she was quoted as saying.

"A INNOCENT KISS DUE TO JOY"

Suspect Doğu, in her statement included in the indictment, noted that they kissed for 2 seconds reflexively, stating that this was an innocent kiss due to their joy from being siblings and overcoming difficult times, and that she felt very ashamed for coming here because of such a crime.

UP TO 1 YEAR OF IMPRISONMENT IS REQUESTED

In the prepared indictment, it was requested that suspects Dilan Polat and Sinem Sıla Doğu be sentenced to imprisonment of 6 months to 1 year for the crime of 'indecent acts.' If the indictment sent to the Istanbul Criminal Court of First Instance is accepted, the trial of the suspects will begin in the coming days.

It was noted that Polat admitted to being in Marmara Prison during the incident and using foul language. A lawsuit was filed against the phenomenon with a request for 2 years of imprisonment.
