The Ministry of Trade has decided to recall a school bag that poses a risk to children's health. In a warning announced through GÜBİS, it was reported that the "Diakakiç" brand bag carries chemical risks.
While the Ministry of Trade continues its inspections, it continues to expose products that may pose a risk to citizens one by one. The ministry has added new products to those it has banned from being placed on the market and has decided to recall, which it published through the Unsafe Product Information System (GÜBİS).
RECALL DECISION FOR SCHOOL BAG
The ministry announced that a ban on the market release and a recall decision has been made for the "Diakakiç" brand school bag. It was stated that the school bag poses a chemical risk due to containing lead above the limit values.
The ministry explained that the decision was made in accordance with the "Law No. 7223 on Product Safety and Technical Regulations, Regulation on Market Surveillance and Inspection of the Ministry of Trade, Regulation on the Registration, Evaluation, Authorization and Restriction of Chemicals, and Regulation on Persistent Organic Pollutants."
