WHO IS JAMES DAVID VANCE?

Vance, born in Ohio in 1984, joined the US Army after completing high school education and served as a marine in the Iraq War in 2005. After completing his undergraduate education at Ohio State University, Vance graduated from Yale Law School. He also has a biography titled "Hillbilly Elegy" that made it to the "best-selling books" list. Vance, who previously criticized Trump and called him "America's Hitler," has been supporting Trump since he entered politics in 2022. Vance, who was elected as the Ohio Senator in 2022, is married and has 3 children.

ASSASSINATION ATTEMPT ON TRUMP

Former US President Trump was targeted in an armed attack while addressing his supporters from the podium at a rally in Pennsylvania on Saturday. One person was killed and two others were injured in the attack. The US Secret Service announced that the assailant, who fired multiple shots from a high point outside the rally area towards the podium, was neutralized.

The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) defined the attack as an assassination attempt. After the investigations, the FBI announced that the person who attempted the assassination and was killed at the scene was 20-year-old Thomas Matthew Crooks.
