A drone attack was carried out in the Black Sea on the Ro-ro ship NADHEZNA, which was carrying fruits and vegetables from Turkey to Russia. In the attack, 4 crew members, 3 of whom were Turkish, were injured and a fire broke out on the ship. The captain held Ukraine responsible for the attack.

TURKISH SHIP HIT BY DRONE

According to information obtained, a drone attack was carried out on a Turkish ship in the Black Sea. A fire broke out after the drone attack on the Turkish-owned Ro-ro ship named NADHEZNA, which was carrying fresh fruits and vegetables from Turkey to Russia. In the attack, 4 crew members, 3 of them Turkish, were injured. It was reported that the ship was about to depart from Samsun to Russia's Novorossiysk city and that the attack was carried out at a distance of 30 nautical miles from Novorossiysk at around 16.30 TSI.

HE BLAMED UKRAINE

The ship's captain, Yalçın Şahin, claimed that the attack was carried out by Ukraine, stating that 6-7 drones were used in the attack. Şahin noted that they were waiting for help, everyone was alive, but there were injured people.

While the crew on the ship intervened in the fire that broke out after the attack, it was reported that the Russian Navy had difficulty approaching the ship for help due to the drones in the region.
