In a drug operation conducted in 35 provinces centered in Istanbul, 110 suspects were detained and 65 Telegram groups were shut down using the artificial intelligence-supported HUNTER system.

In an operation targeting drug dealers across 35 provinces centered in Istanbul, 110 suspects were captured, and the artificial intelligence-supported Open Source Intelligence Analysis System (AVCI) was used.

CHIEF PUBLIC PROSECUTOR'S OFFICE PRESSED THE BUTTON FOR THE OPERATION

Teams from the Istanbul Police Department's Narcotics Crimes Branch Directorate, coordinated by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office and with support from the Narcotics Crimes Combat Department, conducted efforts against suspects assessed to have committed the crime of "manufacturing and trafficking narcotics or stimulant substances" on the social media platform named "Telegram."

THEY COULD NOT HIDE FROM AVCI

Within the scope of the conducted efforts, numerous posts related to drug trafficking were detected through inspections carried out using the AI-supported AVCI application developed by the Istanbul Police Department.

10 SUSPECTS CAPTURED

After the teams completed their operations, 110 suspects were taken into custody in a simultaneous raid on determined addresses across the city.

Meanwhile, 65 Telegram groups and channels identified during the operation were shut down.
