A 67-year-old person was found burned to death in a hazelnut garden in Samsun. While a comprehensive investigation has been launched into the incident, authorities are investigating whether the elderly man was burned to death or died as a result of a fire he started himself.

According to information obtained about the incident that occurred in a hazelnut orchard, Y.A (67) was found dead, burned, in the hazelnut orchard. Upon notification, gendarmerie teams were dispatched to the scene. After initial examinations, Y.A's body was sent to the Samsun Group Directorate of the Forensic Medicine Institute for an autopsy to determine the exact cause of death.
