Claiming that he was not the driver, O.Ş. threatened the police by saying, “I will file a lawsuit too”; legal proceedings were initiated against him on the charge of “endangering traffic safety.”

During checks, the driver was found to have 0.89 promille of alcohol; claiming that he was not the driver, he threatened the police officer by saying 'I will file a lawsuit' over the crimes he committed. The drunk driver was issued an administrative fine of 680 thousand TL under the relevant traffic articles.
DID NOT COMPLY WITH THE STOP WARNING, WAS CAUGHT AFTER A CHASE
According to the information obtained, police teams from the Traffic Inspection Branch Directorate of the Kayseri Provincial Police Department issued a 'stop' warning to a vehicle with plate 38 ER 031 driven by O.Ş. on Mustafa Kemal Paşa Boulevard in the Hunat Neighborhood of the district. O.Ş., who did not comply with the teams' warning, tried to flee with his vehicle, and as a result of a short chase, the teams caught O.Ş. on Necip Fazıl Boulevard in the Tacettin Veli Neighborhood.
During checks, it was determined that O.Ş. had 0.89 promille of alcohol. O.Ş. was issued a total administrative fine of 680 thousand TL under the relevant traffic articles.
CLAIMED HE WAS NOT THE DRIVER AND THREATENED THE POLICE
Although the teams caught O.Ş. as the driver, O.Ş. claimed that he was not the driver. O.Ş., who did not comply with the 'stop' warning and drove under the influence of alcohol, made threatening remarks to the teams, saying 'I will file a lawsuit too.' Judicial proceedings were initiated against O.Ş. for the offense of 'endangering traffic safety,' and he was taken to the police station to give a statement.
After the procedures, the vehicle was towed to the parking lot with a tow truck.
