ITEMS REMAINED UNDER THE RUBBLE
The incident occurred at around 08:30 on Ordu Street in Şerefiye Neighborhood. During foundation excavation carried out with construction machinery on the street, some sections of the restaurant operating next door collapsed. Due to the collapse, various items and building materials in the workplace remained under the rubble. Upon notification, police and fire brigade teams were dispatched to the area. The teams took security measures in the surrounding area against the risk of a possible new collapse. It was stated that investigations into the extent of the damage at the workplace are ongoing.
