Similar intense seismic activity was experienced in the same region in 2011-2012, and this activity, which lasted for 14 months, did not lead to any volcanic activity. Scientists and researchers in our country are evaluating the seismic movements in coordination with AFAD and from different perspectives (earthquake, volcanic activity, tsunami, etc.).
