5-year-old Elva Güneş, who was on vacation with her family in Sapanca, Sakarya, fell into the pool at a bungalow facility and nearly drowned. Despite all interventions at the hospital she was taken to, she could not be saved.
In the Sapanca district of Sakarya, Elva Güneş (5), who was in danger of drowning after falling into a pool at a bungalow facility she had come to with her family for a holiday, died at the hospital where she was taken.
FAMILY PULLED HER OUT OF THE WATER
The incident occurred yesterday evening at a bungalow facility in Sapanca's Uzunkum neighborhood. Elva, the 5-year-old daughter of the Güneş family, fell into the pool at the bungalow facility where they had come for a holiday. Her family noticed the situation, entered the water, and pulled the little girl out of the pool. Elva Güneş was taken to Sapanca District State Hospital by private vehicle by her family and was later transferred to Sakarya Training and Research Hospital.
COULD NOT BE SAVED DESPITE ALL DOCTORS' INTERVENTIONS
Güneş, who was taken into treatment there, died despite all the doctors' interventions. Elva Güneş's body was sent to Sakarya Training and Research Hospital Korucuk Autopsy Center for an autopsy.
Investigation into the incident continues.
