Erdoğan addressed the opposition like this: We do not want anything else.

President Erdoğan spoke at the AK Party's "Turkey Meetings from Our Essence to the Future" program at the Haliç Congress Center. Stating that the opposition, which he criticized with harsh words, has no concern for serving the nation, President Erdoğan pointed out that they have not lifted their heads from the struggle for seats.

ERDOĞAN: THE OPPOSITION CANNOT LIFT THEIR HEADS FROM THE STRUGGLE FOR SEATS

Erdoğan said: "I believe you are also following what agenda the opposition is chasing, what their concerns are, and that they have no worries about serving the nation and cities. They cannot lift their heads from the struggle for seats and internal party conflicts. Since the night of March 31, they have already started fighting with each other for the elections that will take place in about 4 years. They have no concerns for serving the nation or cities, nor do they have the sensitivity to fulfill the promises made to citizens.

Former party leaders are constantly attacking left and right on social media out of resentment for being sidelined. They are trying to keep themselves on the agenda by polarizing the nation and escalating the political climate. With their poisonous language and rhetoric, they do not allow the political atmosphere of Turkey to soften, normalize, or the tension to decrease.

"DO NOT CAST A SHADOW, WE DO NOT WANT ANYTHING ELSE FROM YOU"

As we strive to improve the dialogue between the government and the opposition, those who feed on tension are doing everything they can to prevent this. If you want to do good for Turkey, do not cast a shadow; we do not want anything else from you.

Highlights from Erdoğan's statements are as follows:

"Young people, we knocked on the doors of everyone from shopkeepers in the market to retirees and civil servants. We are compiling a pool of ideas that will guide us before our congress process. In our congress process, we will hopefully benefit to the maximum extent. I want to emphasize this point. The Turkey meetings have once again confirmed the unshakable place of the AK Party in the hearts of our nation. Our citizens see our party and our alliance as the address for solving problems. They believe that we will overcome the difficulties in the economy.

"OUR CITIZENS DO NOT TRUST OPPOSITION ACTORS"

Our citizens do not trust opposition actors. They never believe that good will come from them. Our people trust the AK Party and the People's Alliance. I want to say this openly. As the AK Party, we know the value of this support given to us very well. We are determined not to disappoint this trust and belief. We have not disappointed our nation so far, and we will not.

"THERE MAY BE THOSE WHO WITHDRAW TO REST"

As the AK Party, we are the largest family in Turkey in terms of membership. We are not a movement that has formed a union of interests; we are a political party that has formed a unity of hearts, a unity of destiny, and a brotherhood of roads and causes with a passion for serving Turkey. The bond that holds the AK Party organizations together is the law of brotherhood. We are not among those who rise by crushing others. We are among those who rise by holding each other's hands and supporting one another.

I always say; positions, ranks, and the seats we occupy can change, there can be breaks, there can be those who withdraw to rest, but the representative of the AK Party, for which we have dedicated our lives, will hopefully endure forever.

"ISRAEL HAS COMMITTED EVERY ATROCITY"

The service caravan we inherited from our predecessors will continue on its path in the same way. During this process, we will not give in to the language of anger and hatred; we will move forward by conquering hearts with kindness and tolerance. I want each of my friends here to look at the struggle they are conducting from this broad perspective.

In the last year, there have been very bloody conflicts in our region. Israel's genocide against the people of Gaza is nearing its first anniversary. In 364 days, they have cowardly martyred more than 17,000 children, thousands of women, the elderly, civilians, doctors, and journalists. Nearly 50,000 innocent people have been slaughtered before the eyes of the world. All values of international law, fundamental human rights and freedoms, war law, and all values related to humanity have been trampled underfoot. No crime or barbarity has been left uncommitted. But no matter what they do, they could not break the resistance of the people of Gaza.

"WE ARE THE ONLY STATE IMPLEMENTING ECONOMIC MEASURES AGAINST ISRAEL"

Despite all the impossibilities, our brothers in Gaza have been heroically resisting against the Zionist occupiers for 364 days as the pride of the ummah and humanity. We salute them once again with respect from here. We send our heartfelt love to the heroic children of Palestine, the oppressed and proud youth. As Turkey, we will continue to stand by our brothers in Gaza with all our means. I do not say this just for the sake of rhetoric. We are the only state implementing economic measures against Israel.

"WHEREVER WE STOOD ON THE FIRST DAY, WE ARE STILL THERE TODAY"

We are the Muslim country that has sent the most aid to Gaza in terms of quantity. We are the government that is the voice, breath, and defender of the Palestinian people on all international platforms. Wherever we stood on the first day, we are still standing firm in the same place today. Whatever we defended on the first day, we defend the same values today. Whatever we say in Turkey, we do not hesitate to say the same sentences at the podium of the UN. Without wavering, without being swayed, without fear of anyone, and without bowing to anyone's pressure or threat, we stand by the oppressed against the oppressors.

We were one of the countries that gave the strongest response after Israel's attacks on Lebanon. It is again Turkey that sees, exposes, and warns all humanity about the dirty plans of the Israeli government aimed at turning the region into a sea of blood. Now, everyone with a sound mind and foresight sees this reality; the intentions of the current Israeli government, which acts with religious fanaticism, are clear, its targets are clear, and what it wants to achieve is very clear. Western powers, however, cannot raise their voices against Netanyahu and the massacre gang due to the shame of the Holocaust, even though they know their true intentions very well.

"THEY CANNOT EVEN TOLERATE THE PALESTINIAN FLAG"

For years, those who talk to us about freedoms have been seen treating demonstrators gathered for Palestinian children in a certain way. They cannot even tolerate the Palestinian flag, let alone allow the rights of the Palestinian oppressed to be defended. When it comes to terrorist organizations, those who say the right to protest is sacred apply the most blatant form of fascism when it comes to Palestine, when nearly 50,000 innocents are involved.

They have personally discredited the values they advocate for in just one year to cover up Israel's massacres.

"HAMAS AND HEZBOLLAH ARE JUST A PRETEXT"

I must say this clearly. A sinister plan has been put into action to draw borders in our geography with blood, just as it was at the beginning of the last century. Hamas and Hezbollah are just a pretext. Yemen, Syria, and Iran are merely excuses. The Israeli government produces a new justification every day to legitimize its occupation and invasion policies. Although some of our friends in Israel, some Zionist supporters, and some scribes try to conceal the truth, we can predict where we will end up if Netanyahu and his gang are not stopped.

We see that a new war of partition, a dirty war, is being conducted through Israel, and we are taking all our precautions accordingly. Turkey is a great country. Let everyone know and understand this. Turkey is an experienced state with a deep-rooted heritage of over 2300 years. With its 85 million citizens, Turkey is a source of stability and security in its region. Just as we have never allowed any weakness in the security of our state and nation, we plan our moves with the same sensitivity, calmness, determination, and of course, the same strategic mind. We cannot tolerate operations being conducted on our homeland, which is soaked with the blood of martyrs. I invite those who pamper the Israeli government and make it reckless by providing unconditional support to act with common sense from here.

"EVERY DAY WE DO NOT TAKE MEASURES AGAINST ISRAEL, THIS SEA OF BLOOD WILL UNFORTUNATELY GROW EVEN LARGER"

Stop these tyrants, whose reins you hold, before more blood is shed and destruction occurs. Otherwise, the fire ignited by the bloodthirsty Israeli government will burn not only this geography and its people but also you. Sooner or later, it will reach you too. I also call on the Islamic world to activate economic and commercial measures in the same way. Every day we do not take measures against Israel, this sea of blood will unfortunately grow even larger. Fulfilling the requirements of our brotherhood is a necessity for us, beyond a choice.

The AK Party organizations have a duty to elevate the spirit of brotherhood in addressing the threats facing Turkey, and we will be in complete solidarity. We will unite more than ever, be on the field, work, and run. There is no stopping, no pausing, no resting, no fatigue, no complacency."
