The special request that actor Erkan Petekkaya had added to the contract before starting the projects he took part in drew attention. "In everything I act in, I keep a ring on my finger. In some of my contracts, there is a clause stating, 'I will not take this off.' With a period drama, I have to take it off," he said.
Erkan Petekkaya said in the program he appeared on that he did not want to take off his ring for the role. The actor, who said he had a special clause added to some of his contracts on this matter, also explained that he plans to leave the ring on his finger to his grandchild in the future.

Erkan Petekkaya, who was a guest on the program “İki Arada” hosted by Mesut Yar and Ozan Zeybek on TV100, said he takes care not to take the ring off his finger in the productions he acts in. The actor said, “The ring stays on my finger in everything I act in. In some of my contracts there is a clause saying ‘I won’t take this off.’ If it is a period series, I have to take it off.”

Petekkaya recounted that when his son was born, he had a special ring made for him and gave the ring to him when he turned 18. The actor, who stated that his son does not wear the ring because he does not find it suitable for his style, but keeps it in a valuable place, said he also plans to leave the ring on his own finger to his grandchild.
“I had a ring made on the day my son was first born; I said, ‘I will give it to him when he turns 18, let it remain a keepsake from us to him.’ I gave him that ring I got on the day he was born when he turned 18. Now he doesn’t wear it because it isn’t his style, but he has put it in the most valuable place. On the day I gave it to him, I also took this one on my finger; may this one go to my grandchild, God willing,” he said.
