European Exchanges Close Tuesday With Losses

France's CAC performs worst with 0.67% loss.

ISTANBUL (AA) — European stock exchanges finished Tuesday with losses.

The STOXX Europe 600, which includes around 90% of the market capitalization of the European market in 17 countries, fell 0.94 points, or 0.18%, to close at 522.95.

The UK's FTSE 100 lost seven points, or 0.09%, to end the session at 8,416. Germany's DAX shed 42 points, or 0.22%, to 18,726.

France's CAC 40 was the worst performer of the day, falling 54 points, or 0.67%, to 8,141.

Italy's FTSE MIB, meanwhile, plummeted 221 points, or 0.64%, to finish the session at 34,603.

Spain's IBEX 35 decreased four points, or 0.04%, to end the day at 11,334. -
