Marc Botenga, a Belgian Member of the European Parliament, strongly condemned the attacks by the US and Israel on Iran and accused European politicians of supporting the policies of Washington and Tel Aviv. Botenga stated, "Most of you, instead of condemning, are supporting the war that Trump and Netanyahu are waging against Iran. Afghanistan, Libya, Syria, Iraq... Your bombs have never brought democracy and they will not bring it."

Belgian Member of the European Parliament Marc Botenga strongly condemned the attacks by the USA and Israel on Iran. Speaking in the European Parliament, Botenga accused some European politicians of supporting the policies of Washington and Tel Aviv.

"YOU ARE SUPPORTING THIS WAR"

In his speech in the European Parliament, Botenga addressed Western leaders, claiming that many politicians openly or covertly supported the military operations against Iran conducted by US President Donald Trump and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

In his speech, Botenga stated, "Most of you, instead of condemning, are supporting the war that Trump and Netanyahu are waging against Iran."

"BOMBS DID NOT BRING DEMOCRACY, AND THEY WILL NOT"

Reminding of the West's military interventions in the Middle East and Asia in the past, Botenga said that these operations did not bring democracy.

The Belgian MP included the following words in his speech: "Afghanistan, Libya, Syria, Iraq… Your bombs have never brought democracy and will not. Trump and Netanyahu are not bringing democracy. They are spreading chaos and death. Europe must stop supporting their guilty war."

THE DEBATE ON IRAN IN EUROPE IS GROWING

Botenga's statements came amid the political discussions in Europe following the attacks by the USA and Israel on Iran. While some groups in the European Parliament argue that the attacks should be openly condemned, some political circles support a tougher stance against Iran's policies in the region.
