FETÖ convict B.E.B., who tried to hide from security forces by having a secret compartment built, was caught in an operation organized in Afyonkarahisar. The convict, for whom a finalized prison sentence had been issued, was sent to prison after his procedures.
POLICE TEAMS IDENTIFIED THE ADDRESS WHERE HE WAS HIDING
Afyonkarahisar Provincial Police Department teams continued their work to identify individuals for whom arrest warrants had been issued. Within the scope of the joint work carried out by the Intelligence Branch Directorate and Anti-Terrorism Branch Directorate teams, the trace of B.E.B., who had a finalized prison sentence for FETÖ/PDY membership, was reached. As a result of the investigations, the address where the convict was hiding was determined. Police teams carried out an operation at the address in question in line with the information obtained.
A SPECIAL SECRET COMPARTMENT WAS BUILT INSIDE THE HOUSE
During the operation, a striking detail emerged. The teams found the convict they were looking for not in the normal living areas of the house, but in a secret compartment specially created inside the residence. B.E.B., caught in the compartment used to hide from security forces, was detained by police teams. With the capture of the convict, procedures were initiated for the execution of the finalized prison sentence against him.
HE WAS DETERMINED TO BE A BYLOCK USER
In the efforts carried out by police units, it was also determined that B.E.B. was a ByLock user, known as FETÖ/PDY's encrypted communication program. In a previous trial against B.E.B., he had been sentenced to 6 years and 3 months in prison for the crime of 'being a member of the FETÖ/PDY armed terrorist organization.' After the sentence in question became final, security forces were working to capture the wanted convict. The operation carried out after his address was determined ended with the wanted convict being found in the place where he was hiding.
