CLIMBED THE WALL TO HIS GIRLFRIEND'S APARTMENT
The incident occurred on Sunday, July 12, around 00:30 in Firuzağa Neighborhood. According to the information obtained, Lütfü Evrem A., allegedly intoxicated, climbed the side wall to reach the first-floor apartment where his ex-girlfriend Buşra A., whom he had separated from about 6 months ago, resides. Allegedly, Lütfü Evrem A. banged on the window shouting "You betrayed me," "You cheated on me," threatening and insulting his ex-girlfriend. It was learned that the suspect also swore at citizens on the street during this time.
POLICE BROUGHT HIM DOWN FROM THE WALL AND TOOK HIM INTO CUSTODY
Upon the report, police from the Beyoğlu Patrol Teams Command arrived at the scene and first dispersed the crowd gathered in the street. Meanwhile, some neighborhood residents reacted, saying "Bring him down," "We've been listening to this man's show for an hour." The police then convinced Lütfü Evrem A., who had climbed the wall, to come down, and subsequently took him into custody. A fine of 1,764 lira was imposed on the suspect under the Misdemeanor Law. The parties were taken to the Domestic and Violence Against Women Bureau for processing.
"HE COULDN'T ACCEPT THE BREAKUP"
Buşra A., giving a statement at the police station, stated that he couldn't accept the breakup, constantly harassing, threatening, and insulting her, and filed a complaint against her ex-boyfriend. It was learned that Buşra A., who previously requested a restraining and protection order against her ex-boyfriend, did not request such a measure this time. Following the complaint, a judicial investigation was initiated against Lütfü Evrem A. for 'threat' and 'insult'. The suspect was found to have 4 prior criminal records with the police.

The footage shows Lütfü Evrem A. climbing the wall next to the building, banging on the first-floor window, shouting "You betrayed me," "You cheated on me," and cursing at those around him. The footage also shows police arriving at the scene, convincing the suspect, bringing him down from the wall, and taking him into custody.
