Eczacibasi defeated Scandicci 3-2 in the CEV Champions League semifinal and became VakifBank's opponent in the final. The final match, to be played at Ulker Sports and Event Hall, will start on Sunday, May 3 at 8:00 PM.
In the Women's CEV Zeren Group Champions League Final Four organization, Eczacıbaşı Dynavit defeated the Italian team Savino Del Bene 3-2 to advance to the final.
ECZACIBAŞI BECAME VAKIFBANK'S OPPONENT
The orange-white team will face another Turkish team, VakıfBank, in the final. The match will be played at Ülker Sports and Event Hall and will start at 20:00.
Savino Del Bene started the match well. Against the Italian team's superior play, Eczacıbaşı Dynavit took a timeout when the score was 7-3. After the timeout, Savino Del Bene continued its effective performance against the orange-whites, winning the first set 25-20 to take a 1-0 lead.

The final set also saw great competition. Eczacıbaşı Dynavit, effective with Ebrar Karakurt at the net and diagonal, gained a 6-3 lead, and the Italian team took a timeout. Not allowing the gap to close after the timeout, the orange-whites won the set 15-8 and the match 3-2, securing their place in the final.
TURKISH FINAL IN THE CEV CHAMPIONS LEAGUE
VakıfBank and Eczacıbaşı Dynavit, who eliminated their opponents in the CEV Zeren Group Champions League Final Four, will face off in the final tomorrow.
VakıfBank, which defeated A. Carraro Imoco 3-2, will aim to win its 7th Champions League title in Istanbul. The yellow-black team has won the championship in this organization in 2011, 2013, 2017, 2018, 2022, and 2023.
Coached by Italian head coach Giovanni Guidetti, the yellow-blacks advanced to the final undefeated this season. If VakıfBank wins the cup, it will catch up with Volley Bergamo (7), the third most championship-winning team in the tournament. Turkish teams have previously won the Women's CEV Champions League 8 times. The first Champions League cup was won by VakıfBank in the 2011 season, and it was later taken to Turkish teams' museums 7 more times. In this process, VakıfBank became the star-and-crescent team with the most championships, winning the cup 6 times. Fenerbahçe and Eczacıbaşı each achieved championship in this organization once.
