Singer Ilyas Yalçıntaş, named in a drug investigation led by the Bakırköy Chief Public Prosecutor's Office in which 25 famous figures were detained, broke his silence. In a statement posted on his social media account, Yalçıntaş claimed that the 'sensitive scale' found in his home was actually an ordinary kitchen scale used for measuring calories.
Pop music artist İlyas Yalçıntaş, who was detained by gendarmerie teams in a drug operation, responded to the allegations against him via social media. The singer informed the public about the materials allegedly seized during searches at his residence and firmly denied the accusations.
"IT WOULD NOT BE APPROPRIATE FOR ME TO MAKE A DETAILED STATEMENT"
Stating that he refrained from making a detailed statement due to the ongoing legal process, İlyas Yalçıntaş included the following expressions in his post:
"Today, I was detained as part of an investigation involving my name. Since the legal process is ongoing, it would not be appropriate for me to make a detailed statement."
"IT IS AN ORDINARY KITCHEN SCALE"
Clarifying the allegations in the news that a 'precision scale' used for drug use and weighing was found at his home, the famous singer stated that the seized item was a completely legal kitchen appliance:
"Contrary to some reports, no prohibited substances were found in my home. The 'precision scale' mentioned in the news is a completely legal and ordinary kitchen scale that I use for calorie and nutrition tracking, and it was clearly visible on the kitchen counter."
"I HAVE FULL CONFIDENCE IN THE JUDICIAL PROCESS"
At the end of his statement, Yalçıntaş emphasized his trust in Turkish justice and expressed his belief that the process would be resolved as soon as possible, saying, "I have full confidence in the judicial process. I believe the truth will emerge as soon as possible, and I expect common sense and understanding from the public until the process concludes."

Within the scope of the investigation conducted by the Bakırköy Chief Public Prosecutor's Office under allegations of 'using drugs and stimulants, facilitating their use, and supplying locations,' detention orders were issued for 25 individuals known as artists, actors, operators, and businesspeople.
All 25 suspects named in the investigation file and subjected to detention were disclosed as follows:
