NO LOSS OF LIFE
Since the establishment was closed at the time of the explosion, there were no casualties or injuries. Initial investigations revealed that the explosive was a low-power homemade metal device.
EFFORTS TO IDENTIFY PERPETRATORS UNDERWAY
Limassol Deputy Police Director Lefteris Kyriakou announced that police and crime scene investigation units were dispatched to the area after receiving the report, and an investigation has been launched in the cordoned-off zone. It was reported that evidence collection efforts to identify the perpetrators are ongoing.
