2 WORKERS INJURED
The incident occurred yesterday at around 05:30 in the rolling mill furnace control room of Yeşilyurt Iron and Steel Factory in Cumhuriyet Neighborhood, Tekkeköy district. In the explosion, operators Onur Temel and Gökhan Balta, who were on duty in the room, were injured. Upon the notification, health and police teams were dispatched to the scene. The injured were taken to Samsun City Hospital by ambulances and treated. It was learned that the injured were not in life-threatening condition.
