Sedat Kamcı, a local shopkeeper who watched the incident on security cameras, stated, "A friend called me between 10:30 and 11:00 in the morning. He told me that there was an incident here. In response, we had security camera footage, and I investigated them. Around 5:30 in the morning, two individuals were struggling to stand as they came up from the lower street. One of them is lying down right where I am. The other friend is trying to flag down a taxi, trying to flag down a dolmuş. But no one is stopping. The dolmuş probably thinks there are customers. At first, they slow down, but then no one is waiting. An ambulance arrives about half an hour later," he expressed.
