Twelve people have died and 10 have been hospitalized after consuming counterfeit liquor in the Indian state of Madhya Pradesh.
12 people died and 10 were hospitalized after consuming illicit liquor in the Indian state of Madhya Pradesh. Following the incident, 6 liquor shops in the region were sealed, and the state administration announced that the strictest measures would be taken against those responsible.
A tragedy involving illicit liquor occurred in the Sagar district of India's Madhya Pradesh state. People reported to have consumed the illicit liquor fell ill within a short period of time.
Following the events, 12 people lost their lives, while 10 people were taken under treatment.

CHIEF MINISTER'S ORDER FOR "STRICTEST MEASURES"
Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav ordered an investigation into the deaths.
Yadav demanded that those responsible for the incident be identified and that the strictest possible measures be taken against them.
