Emre Altuğ, who attended the funeral, made emotional statements about his 30-year friend Ürek. Altuğ said, "He was a legend of the stages. He was a good person, may his place be paradise." The famous artist Fatih Ürek, who lost his battle for life after spending 107 days in intensive care following a heart attack, was laid to rest today. Emre Altuğ, an actor and singer who attended the funeral ceremony held at Beşiktaş Barbaros Hayrettin Paşa Mosque, made emotional statements while bidding farewell to his 30-year-old friend.
"WE HAD A 30-YEAR FRIENDSHIP"
Speaking to the press at the funeral, Emre Altuğ emphasized his long-standing friendship with Fatih Ürek, saying, "He was a legend of the stages. We had a friendship of 30 years, maybe even more. One hopes for a recovery, but the last situation was not very bright. It was also uncertain how healthy his return would be, but of course, I was very saddened. He was a very valuable friend, a friend we loved very much. He was a good person. May his place be paradise, inshallah."

Praising Ürek's character, Altuğ stated, "Fatih's heart and mouth were one; he was a very genuine man. You see and experience a lot in this industry, and when you have such special people, your friendship becomes even more precious. We are pleased with him, and may Allah be pleased with him as well. Fatih Ürek, who passed away at the age of 59 on Friday, January 30, at the hospital where he was being treated, was buried at Karacaahmet Cemetery after the funeral prayer was held.
