Speaking at Fenerbahçe's Extraordinary General Assembly with Elections, Sadettin Saran evaluated his tenure and bid farewell to the community. Saran drew attention with his words, "Even if that cup had come, I would be bidding farewell today."

Sadettin Saran, who took the stage at Fenerbahçe's Extraordinary General Assembly with Elections, made statements about his presidency. Stating that they worked to restore the club to a hopeful structure from the very first day they took office, Saran thanked the community and bid farewell.

"WE BECAME THE ADMINISTRATION THAT WON THE MOST CUPS IN FENERBAHÇE HISTORY"

Saran, who stated that they achieved significant successes despite their short tenure, said they competed at the top in many branches.

Saran said, "Our tenure was short. However, during this time, we managed to become the administration that won the most cups in a season in Fenerbahçe history. When you consider the club's external enemies, no cup won can be underestimated."

"A FENERBAHÇE PRESIDENT CANNOT SET A GOAL OTHER THAN THE CHAMPIONSHIP"

Saran noted that they did not achieve the expected championship in football, but emphasized that they gave their all in the struggle.

Saran stated, "A Fenerbahçe president cannot set a goal other than the championship. Perhaps we could not experience the great happiness we desired. We tried to do everything in our power for this cause. In fact, we sometimes fought much harder than what was visible."

"I EXPERIENCED THE HARDEST PERIOD OF MY 62-YEAR LIFE"

Saran, who expressed that his presidency was quite challenging for him, said the support he received from the community kept him going.

"I also experienced the hardest period of my 62-year life here," said Saran, adding that the affection he received from fans and congress members increased his sense of responsibility.

"EVEN IF THAT CUP HAD COME, I WOULD BE BIDDING FAREWELL TODAY"

In the most striking part of his speech, Sadettin Saran touched on his decision to leave, stating that cups won or lost did not affect his decision.

Saran concluded his speech with the words, "I am saying this for the first time as well. Even if that cup had come, I would be bidding farewell today. Because this was not the decision of a single match or a single cup. This was a decision to prioritize Fenerbahçe's interests above everything else."
