In Kayseri, an argument between a father-in-law and his son-in-law, who was in the process of divorce, ended in bloodshed. During the fight, the father-in-law shot his son-in-law and his friend, seriously injuring them. The father-in-law, who was also stabbed in the same fight, was taken into custody after receiving medical treatment. The son-in-law and his friend remain in critical condition.
A fight broke out at around 10:00 PM in the parking lot of a building on Karpuzatan Street in Oruçreis Neighborhood, Kocasinan district, Kayseri. According to allegations, an argument erupted between D.K. and his daughter's husband E.D. (37), who is in the process of divorce. The argument quickly escalated into a knife and gun fight.
SHOT HIS SON-IN-LAW AND FRIEND WITH A GUN
During the scuffle, E.D. and his friend M.K. (24) were wounded by gunfire, while D.K. was stabbed in the leg. Upon notification by bystanders, police and medical teams were dispatched to the scene. After initial medical intervention, the injured E.D. and M.K. were taken to City Hospital, while D.K. was taken to Kayseri State Hospital.
FATHER-IN-LAW TAKEN INTO CUSTODY
Police teams took extensive security measures around both hospital buildings. After his treatment, D.K. was taken into custody, while it was learned that E.D. and M.K. were in life-threatening condition.
