Fenerbahçe is preparing to make an official application to the TFF to revise the foreign player rule to 12+2 due to foreign quota issues.
The Turkish Football Federation (TFF) and Club Association President Ertuğrul Doğan have stated that no changes will be made to the foreign player rule, yet clubs continue to demand such changes.

Fenerbahçe, facing foreign player quota issues due to squad depth, is preparing to submit an official application to the TFF. It is reported that the yellow-navy management will request the revision of the current 10+4 foreign player rule to 12+2.
WHAT DID İSMAİL KARTAL SAY?
After the Gornik Zabrze match, head coach İsmail Kartal also addressed the issue, stating that the majority of clubs want a rule change. Kartal said, "14-15 of the 18 clubs in the Süper Lig demand the foreign player rule to be changed to 12+2. Perhaps an adjustment can be made to the rule."
