Fenerbahçe's head coach Jose Mourinho has been referred to the PFDK due to "statements aimed at damaging the reputation of football." Additionally, Galatasaray's backup goalkeeper Günay Güvenç, who received a red card during halftime of the match against Alanyaspor, has also been referred to the committee for "insulting" behavior.

REASON FOR MOURINHO'S REFERRAL

The Portuguese coach was referred to the PFDK by the federation due to "statements aimed at damaging the reputation of football." In the statement made by the TFF regarding Mourinho, the following was stated;

"FENERBAHÇE A.Ş. Club's technical responsible JOSE MARIO DOS SANTOS MOURINHO FELIX has been referred to the PFDK without precaution due to the 'statements aimed at damaging the reputation of football' in his statements made to the media on 06.03.2025, in accordance with Article 38 of the Football Discipline Regulation."

GÜNAY REFERRED FOR INSULT

On the other hand, Galatasaray's backup goalkeeper Günay Güvenç, who received a red card during the halftime of the Aanyaspor match, was also referred to the PFDK for "insult." The statement made regarding Günay is as follows;

"GALATASARAY A.Ş. Club's player GÜNAY GÜVENÇ has been referred to the PFDK with precaution starting from 10.03.2025 due to 'insult' in the same match, in accordance with Article 41 of the Football Discipline Regulation."
