Zenit and Fenerbahçe have reached an agreement for the loan transfer of Ognjen Mimovic until the end of the season. Mimovic, who was signed by Fenerbahçe from Red Star, was sent on loan due to the foreign player limit imposed by the Turkish Football Federation rules. The 20-year-old player was transferred to Fenerbahçe for 6.7 million Euros, but despite having his license issued, he has not yet had the opportunity to play.
There has been an important development regarding the future of Ognjen Mimovic, who was recently signed by Fenerbahçe from Red Star.

According to the news from Yağız Sabuncuoğlu; Zenit and Fenerbahçe have reached an agreement for the loan transfer of Ognjen Mimovic until the end of the season.
WHY IS HE BEING LOANED?
With the cancellation of Allan Saint-Maximin's transfer to Napoli, Fenerbahçe increased the number of foreign players in their squad to 15 with the reinforcements made during the mid-season transfer period. However, due to the rules of the Turkish Football Federation, the yellow-blue team can have a maximum of 14 foreign players in their squad. Therefore, it was necessary for one player to be excluded from the squad.
