It has been reported that Fenerbahçe, Trabzonspor, and Beşiktaş, which are competing in European cups, are preparing to apply to the Turkish Football Federation for the postponement of their matches in the 2nd week of the Trendyol Super League. The requests of the three clubs are expected to reach the TFF today.
Fenerbahce, Trabzonspor, and Besiktas, who continue their journey in European cups, have taken action due to the busy match schedule. It was stated that the clubs will request that the matches in the 2nd week be postponed to a later date due to the short time between their play-off matches in European cups and the Super League matches. The postponement applications of the three clubs are expected to reach the TFF today.
APPLICATION FOR THREE MATCHES
It was stated that Fenerbahce would request a postponement for the matches against Konyaspor, Trabzonspor against Basaksehir, and Besiktas against Alanyaspor.
The matches planned to be played in the 2nd week of the Super League are as follows:
- Fenerbahce - Konyaspor
- Trabzonspor - RAMS Basaksehir
- Alanyaspor - Besiktas
PLAY-OFF DUTY IN EUROPE
Fenerbahce will face Olympique Lyon in the UEFA Champions League play-off round. The yellow-navy blues will play their first match on August 18. Trabzonspor will compete against Ferencvaros in the UEFA Europa League play-off round. Besiktas, on the other hand, will take the field against Kauno Zalgiris. Trabzonspor and Besiktas will play their first play-off matches in Europe on August 20.
EYES ON TFF
Following the applications of Fenerbahce, Trabzonspor, and Besiktas, all eyes will turn to the decision to be made by the TFF. If the federation accepts the requests, the TFF will determine the new dates for the three matches.
