Recently, it was reported that Ferdi Tayfur, who was hospitalized due to high blood pressure complaints, underwent surgery and that the operation was successful.

After his treatment in Muğla, the artist was transferred to Antalya by air ambulance at the request of his doctors and family, and his treatment continues at a private hospital. Ferdi Tayfur was taken ill at his home in Marmaris, Muğla, the day before yesterday, and was first taken by ambulance to a private hospital in the district, and then transferred to another private healthcare institution in Muğla. The 79-year-old artist, who was treated in the intensive care unit of the general surgery department, had a stent placed in his brain vessel during an operation performed at a hospital in Antalya 15 days ago and was discharged 4 days ago. Ferdi Tayfur, who underwent dialysis treatment for a while, had his son's kidney transplanted in Antalya in 2020.
