A fire broke out for reasons not yet determined in the sauna section of a private gym in Batman. Due to the dense smoke covering the facility, teams launched an operation to rescue 30 citizens trapped inside. Batman Governor Ekrem Canalp, in his statement at the scene, said that 2 people lost their lives in the fire and 9 people were injured, 1 of them seriously.

30 PEOPLE TRAPPED
Upon the notice of those who spotted the flames, fire brigades and other teams were dispatched to the area. During the fire, 30 people inside the sports complex were trapped inside.
Numerous fire brigades, 112 emergency health, and police teams were dispatched to the area to extinguish the fire and rescue the citizens trapped inside.
Teams' efforts in the area are ongoing.
