New cell phone footage has emerged regarding the terrifying moments on the passenger ship that sank off the coast of Kyrenia in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC). After the ship began taking on water, passengers were seen heading toward the exits, struggling to stay on their feet as the vessel lost its balance, and experiencing great panic. The sounds of shouting in the background revealed the extent of the panic, while moments when some passengers left their belongings behind and tried to save themselves were captured on camera.

Mobile phone footage recorded in the section of the ship where passengers were located revealed the fear and panic people experienced after the ship began taking on water.
PANIC INCREASED AS THE SHIP LOST ITS BALANCE
In the images shared on social media, passengers were seen rushing toward exit points in a panic as the ship took on water.
It was noticed that some passengers struggled to remain standing due to the ship losing its balance, while those inside experienced great fear in the face of what was happening.
The rising screams in the background also revealed the extent of the panic.
